What is the principle of corona treatment?
The principle of corona treating PE film is like using static electricity to “prick” the plastic film’s surface. When the plastic film passes through the corona treatment machine,the machine generates a strong static charge that turns the surrounding air into a special state, a bit like little sparks “crackling” on the surface of the plastic film. These little sparks create new tiny bumps on the surface, making it easier for the plastic film to stick to ink or glue, as if adding “sticky hooks” to the surface, allowing the plastic film to adhere to other things more effectively.

1.Prepare the PE film: Ensure the PE film is clean and dust-free, ready to pass through the corona treatment machine.
2.Apply high voltage: In the corona treatment machine, apply high-frequency high-voltage electricity to ionize the air and create a plasma.
3.Surface modification: The plasma interacts with the PE film surface, increasing surface roughness and polar groups, thereby enhancing surface energy.
4.Control the treatment effect: Adjust the parameters of the corona treatment machine, such as voltage and treatment time, to control the degree of surface modification.
5.Environmental treatment: Treat harmful gases produced during the process to ensure a safe working environment.
6.Quality inspection: Test the surface tension of the treated PE film to ensure it meets the requirements for its intended application.
